The 21 Day IF Challenge is a bridge to make Intermittent Fasting a lifestyle change. Most individuals are intimidated or fear the idea of fasting. The reason for the challenge was to give you a daily guide on how to make fasting easy and simple. Obviously, like any challenge it takes discipline but with all the support tools that come along with the challenge my goals was to make it foolproof.
You will receive daily emails to inspire, motivate and give you tips to make fasting easier. It depends on the individual's past history of eating along with their activity level and how much overweight you are. Everybody is different. If you have a history of eating all the time and relying heavy on carbs, this will be a big adjustment but you might get some great results early. If you are already a clean eater and pretty active it probably with be an easier adjustment and your results might come a bit later. Be patient and take one day at a time. The goal is to get your insulin levels lower more frequently along with making your body a fat burner as opposed to just a sugar (glucose) burner.
No problem! Just save the daily emails so you can go back to them and you will have access to the IF Journal PDF to refer back to if you fall behind. Ideally, doing each day at a time would be great but real life can throw obstacles in your way and the challenge will be waiting for you if that happens.
Nope! This challenge is focusing on when you eat (often neglected) and what you eat!
You will continue to get a weekly email from me regarding fasting along with other pillars of health (stress, working out, keto...etc) to keep the momentum going from the challenge.
